This role sits at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and People & Culture. In a small, fast-moving team like ours, that means you'll likely be involved in everything from finding great engineers to organizing team lunches to setting up HR policies that make sense for a growing startup.
If you like variety, ownership, and occasionally wearing multiple hats (sometimes in the same afternoon), you'll probably enjoy this role.
RequirementsWhat You'll Be Doing
Hiring & Talent
Own end-to-end recruitment across engineering, research, and operations roles
Source candidates through LinkedIn, communities, hiring platforms, and referrals
Work closely with founders to understand hiring needs and define roles
Coordinate interviews and ensure candidates have a great experience
Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
Manage onboarding and employee documentation
Help create and maintain HR policies (leave policy, code of conduct, etc.)
Support employee engagement, feedback loops, and internal processes
Ensure the people side of the company runs smoothly
Culture & Workplace Experience
Help shape our internal culture as the team grows
Organize team events, learning sessions, and occasional offsites
Keep the workplace collaborative, thoughtful, and human
Community & Talent Outreach
Support campus hiring from IITs, IISc, IIITs, and similar institutes
Build relationships with talent communities and academic networks
Support employer branding and hiring communication on platforms like LinkedIn
What We're Looking For
:2+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, or people operations
Comfortable managing end-to-end hiring processes
Organized, proactive, and good at working with different stakeholders
Strong communication skills
Bonus points if you:
Have worked in a startup environment
Have experience hiring technical talent
Enjoy building processes from scratch
