The pay range is $85,000.00 - $154,000.00

Our Design team owns the creative vision and development of all Target-owned brands, from apparel to home, beauty, and essentials. In close partnership with Merchandising, Brand, and Sourcing, Designers drive brand cohesion and continuity—ensuring product aligns to line plans, assortment strategies, price architecture, and long-term creative direction.
The Role As a Product Designer, Home Decor (L5) based in our New York City office, you will design elevated Target-Owned Brand home décor collections with a focus on Decorative Accessories and Wall Decor. This is a high-expectation L5 role, operating with near-senior designer capability: high autonomy, strong design authority, and strategic influence across projects, while remaining a hands-on product designer.
You will be trusted to independently drive design vision, translate brand strategy into product reality, and lead creative execution across the full development lifecycle—from concept to commercialization. Guided by Design Leadership and working in close partnership with Brand, Concept, Merchants, Technical Design, and Sourcing, you will shape collections that are both creatively distinctive and commercially successful.
This role requires a designer who not only executes at a high craft level, but also thinks systemically—understanding brand architecture, assortment strategy, margin, and scalability—while delivering beautiful, original, and market-relevant product.
