What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating Workshops: Create and deliver workshops that prompt students to think, "I never knew I was capable of this!" From public speaking to entrepreneurship, you'll provide practical skills that motivate.
• Conducting daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day by helping students establish ambitious goals and develop the mindset to achieve them.
• Supporting student achievement: Apply tested frameworks to ensure every student reaches challenging academic and personal objectives.
• Developing personalized motivational approaches: Collaborate with students to create reward systems and incentives that foster intrinsic excellence.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Conventional instruction: Leave behind chalkboards and lectures. At Alpha, students engage with advanced applications to master core content—your function is to mentor, inspire, and enhance their educational experience.
• Administering discipline: We reject punitive measures. Instead, you'll employ reasoning and positive reinforcement to build a respectful, stimulating atmosphere.

Basic Requirements Career Coach key responsibilities

• Willingness to work in person in Brownsville, TX. Relocation assistance is available.
• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• Experience employing a growth mindset to achieve a high level of performance
• High level of energy and a desire to boost others up.
• A desire to connect, inspire, and motivate K-8th grade students.
• Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
