At Robinhood, security is foundational to trust. The Insider Trust team sits at the center of that mission: protecting Robinhood and our customers from risks that originate from within. We operate at the intersection of security, people, and risk, working closely with Legal, People Relations, Physical Security, Detection & Response, and business leaders to address complex and sensitive situations.
This is a hands-on investigative and analytical role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, can connect disparate signals, and is motivated to uncover the truth behind risky behavior. You will support and execute investigations today, while building toward owning more complex cases over time.We operate with a bias for action: moving quickly to assess and mitigate risk while enabling the business to continue operating effectively. Our goal is not to slow teams down, but to help them move fast, safely.
This role includes occasional travel to support high-priority investigations and on-site security assessments.
This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits. Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
Base Pay Range Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)
$140,000—$165,000 USD
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)
$123,000—$145,000 USD
Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)
$110,000—$129,000 USD
