About the Role
Paytm Ads is looking for a Monetization Manager to drive strategic partnerships and
maximize revenue opportunities across the advertising ecosystem.
The role will act as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for external partners, while
working closely with internal product, sales, and operations teams to ensure that partnerships
translate into scalable revenue opportunities.
This role sits at the intersection of ad monetization, partnerships, and product
solutioning, helping bring new ad capabilities to market while optimizing existing revenue
streams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Management & Ecosystem Development
Serve as the primary SPOC for external ad tech and ecosystem partners including
DSPs, SSPs, measurement partners, and agencies.
Manage day-to-day relationships with partners to ensure smooth execution and
revenue growth.
Identify opportunities to expand collaboration and unlock new monetization streams.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with product, sales, and ad operations teams to ensure partnerships
are fully leveraged.
Translate partner capabilities into internal opportunities for advertisers and sales
teams.
Coordinate partner integrations, launches, and performance tracking.
3. New Partnerships & Opportunity Evaluation
Identify and evaluate new partnerships across the advertising ecosystem including
programmatic platforms, data partners, and measurement solutions.
Assess strategic fit, revenue potential, and technical feasibility of potential
partnerships.
Support negotiations and onboarding of new partners.
4. Product Solutioning & Go-to-Market Support
Assist in solutioning and packaging new advertising products or features.
Work with internal teams to develop GTM strategies for new ad formats, targeting
capabilities, or measurement solutions.
Enable the sales team with partner-driven solutions for advertisers.
5. Performance Tracking & Optimization
Monitor performance of existing partnerships across revenue, fill rate, and
advertiser adoption.
Identify optimization opportunities and work with partners to improve outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years overall work experience, with 5–6 years in digital advertising / ad tech /
media monetization.
Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem including:
o Programmatic advertising
o Direct IO advertising
o DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges
Experience managing external partnerships or platform integrations.
Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and operations teams.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
