You know that 20 minutes of precision-targeted reading instruction outperforms 90 minutes of a scripted program, and you have student outcomes that back it up. You've seen children plateau on phonics suddenly advance because you identified the gap directly, not because software dictated the next lesson. If building your own lessons from live student data feels like professional autonomy rather than burden, this role is for you.
Alpha's reading instruction follows one core principle: every minute counts. Your workshops run for 20 minutes and focus on what each child genuinely requires, not what a prescribed timeline assumes they need. You'll evaluate reading levels, organize targeted groups, and provide high-impact structured literacy instruction—phonics, fluency, comprehension—for students aged 4-7, producing measurable weekly progress. AI-powered adaptive systems work alongside you, producing performance data that informs your next lesson before the current session concludes.
This position evolves over time. During year one, you're immersed in classroom work: facilitating workshops, leading motivational activities that transform reluctant readers into enthusiastic learners, and delivering detailed observations to the technology team refining Alpha's AI literacy platform. As those tools mature and your input shapes their development, your influence expands beyond your immediate students. You'll contribute to a reading program that scales across campuses, converting what you accomplish with 15 children into a framework serving hundreds.
If you've dedicated your career to demonstrating the effectiveness of structured literacy and you're prepared to combine that knowledge with technology that extends your reach, this is where your influence transcends individual classroom boundaries.
