Functions as a Research Assistant to support and execute clinical and exercise physiology research within the Department of Radiology. Works under general supervision to coordinate study visits, assist with physiological data collection (e.g., cardiopulmonary exercise testing, metabolic measurements, imaging studies), and ensure accurate documentation and data integrity. Contributes to participant management, data processing, and regulatory compliance; assists investigators with preparation of figures, presentations, and manuscripts.
Minimum Education And Skills/Experience Required/Desired Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, Biology, or a related field required. Prior experience in human subjects research involving exercise testing, metabolic assessments, or cardiopulmonary analysis strongly preferred. Familiarity with research operations, data collection systems, and regulatory documentation (IRB, HIPAA) desired. Working knowledge of physiological testing equipment (e.g., metabolic carts, ECG systems, MRI, or body composition analyzers) and basic data management principles preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check; selected candidate may be required to complete a pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
