About The Job We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer to own all our preproduction) environments and infrastructure. This engineer is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves retail and e-commerce and has a passion for delivering best-in-class experiences for consumers alongside a passion for empowering engineering teams to deliver value to their customers rapidly and reliably.
Job Summary:
As Lead Engineer – Preproduction Environments & Infrastructure, you'll be the conductor orchestrating the entire environment management lifecycle for our preproduction environments, including development, testing, usability, performance, and chaos testing environments. Your mission is to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality environment setups across the enterprise. You'll be at the helm, coordinating environment configurations, security improvements, hardware upgrades, and more. You will design and deliver an Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration-as-code strategy that minimizes configuration drift between production and nonproduction environments, and maximizes the usability of these environments for your customers. Your role is pivotal in collaborating with developers, testers, and engineering management to enhance our software engineering processes and practices, all while embodying the spirit of innovation and creativity that defines our denim lifestyle.
