Position Summary Harness is on the lookout for a dynamic Software Engineering Manager to lead the evolution of our next-generation Usage, Billing, and Entitlement Platform — a mission-critical system that powers how every Harness product operates and delivers value to customers. This is not just about billing — it’s about building the economic engine of a cloud platform that processes millions of real-time events per day , drives insights, and enables AWS-level scalability and transparency for our customers.
Why this role matters: You’ll be at the center of how Harness measures, monetizes, and delivers customer value — designing systems that handle streaming data pipelines, large-scale event ingestion, real-time metering , and distributed entitlement logic across multiple products. Your work will directly shape the way customers experience Harness — ensuring fairness, precision, and performance in a system that’s as core to the platform as compute, storage, or security.
