You'll use real-time analytics to drive students toward complete goal attainment. You'll also develop the Guides who support your work. Your resources include performance data, a structured methodology, and the executive presence that commands attention from middle schoolers.

You'll take ownership of a student cohort and deliver three measurable results: students are enthusiastic about attending school, they progress at double the rate of conventional classrooms, and they develop practical life competencies. From the outset, you'll coach other Guides. As you consistently produce outcomes at scale, your authority over campus-wide standards and program quality will expand.

What You Will Be Doing

Facilitating one-hour live workshops focused on life skills (public speaking, concentration, delivering and receiving feedback) for students in grades K-8, using Alpha's established playbook
Conducting motivation sessions leveraging Coachbot analytics and Alpha's incentive architecture (campus currency, leaderboards) to achieve 100% goal completion across your cohort
Developing Guides through coaching on program adherence and standards enforcement, ensuring every session yields concrete action steps for improvement
Managing your assigned student cohort while simultaneously building the capacity of other Guides
Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide performance indicators

What You Won’t Be Doing

Providing academic instruction or tutoring in subject areas. Students master content through application-based learning.
Creating curriculum or developing lesson plans. Alpha's playbook serves as your framework, allowing you to concentrate on implementation and student engagement.
Accepting 99% when 100% is achievable. Maintaining high expectations demonstrates your belief in student capability.
Training Guides on instructional pedagogy. Since Guides don't deliver traditional teaching, your coaching centers on motivation, energy, and accountability.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in education, learning and development (L&D), coaching, or a related field
Experience developing and implementing educational programs, training initiatives, or curricula
Experience building and managing teams, including hiring and making performance-based termination decisions
Experience working with youth ages 5-14 in an educational or developmental setting
Experience using data analysis and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
Willing to work in-person at an Alpha campus in Atlanta, GA or Keller (Fort Worth), TX
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice-to-have Requirements

Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field
Background in athletics coaching, camp counseling, or youth performance programs where results were measured and standards enforced
Experience motivating large groups of students

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
