What We're Looking For
Define, implement, and own the strategic vision for AI and advanced development as it applies to printing, RFID, supplies, sensors, and data capture products, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and product roadmaps.
Lead the strategy at the intersection of business and technology, identifying market opportunities where AI can create intelligent, connected, and automated solutions for our customers.
Direct a multi-disciplinary team of AI researchers and engineers in the research, design, and deployment of market-differentiating features and capabilities.
Champion a culture of innovation and implementation, guiding projects from initial concept and proof-of-concept stages through to successful integration into commercial products.
Partner with executive leadership, business unit GMs, product management, and sales to build compelling business cases and ensure market adoption of new AI-driven solutions.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative environment that attracts, retains, and develops top-tier talent in the AI and advanced engineering fields.
Drive intellectual property creation through patent disclosures and represent the company in relevant industry publications and standards bodies.
Act as the company's lead external evangelist for AI in our core markets, presenting at trade shows, industry conferences, and analyst briefings to establish and grow Zebra's reputation for innovation.
Develop and Execute AI Strategy: This leader is responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. They must identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements in both products and internal processes.
Lead Cross-Functional Teams: The role requires leading and collaborating with diverse teams, including hardware and software engineering, product management, marketing, and sales, to integrate AI technologies into existing and new products.
Drive Innovation and Product Development: A key duty is to drive innovation by staying updated on the latest industry trends and translating business objectives into tangible engineering solutions.

Pay Range £101,500.00 - £174,000.00 Annual
Incentive Compensation In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 30% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
