JOB PURPOSE
To be able to manage and provide best practices for E2E logistic and freight forwarding services. Handling
customer services for freight forwarding / Logistics 3PL, 4PL set ups covering end-to-end freight
movements via air, ocean and land. Experience in managing shipments from origin to destination covering
export import process, manifest submission, export and import customs validation and filing.
Knowledgeable and awareness of multi-mode transportation processes and requirements right from
contracts, procurement, tender processing, customs validation, bookings to custom filing and submission,
commodity/ tariff classification, understanding paper work, managing exceptions, till final release delivery.

· Representing the project as a FF/Logistics Domain expert
· An effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills, strong
analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities.
· Experience of leading teams with a result-oriented attitude and high performance driven
· People Management, Conflict management and Influencing Skills
· Working closely with Customer, multiple stakeholders to establish and define best practices followed in Logistics / Freight forwarder / 3PL team.
· Should be able to proactively drive internal initiatives with high sense of urgency.
· Work towards deadlines and deliver quality outputs within timeline,
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
· Candidate should have sound knowledge of industry business processes – Sea/Road/Rail and Air
· Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Logistics and/or freight forwarding domain. Should have been a Manager for at least 3 years.
· Able to set up SOP for Logistics / Freight forwarders companies (export and import processes)
· Experience in project planning, design implementation, monitoring hand in hand out between stakeholders
· Experience in Operation and performance management. Improving KPIS and bench mark against industry leaders
· Familiar in Global marketplace , industry concepts, changed and customer demands
