Job Description
The role is responsible for optimizing stock flow and fulfillment across the supply chain by
applying strong critical thinking and data analysis skills. This position involves designing,
developing, and continuously improving effective supply chain processes to ensure
smooth operations from end to end.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including buying, planning, logistics, and
store operations to deliver key supply chain outcomes. A major part of the role is driving
process improvements across all aspects of supply chain activities, covering ordering,
inventory flow, and fulfillment.
The role also includes managing and coordinating supplier ordering to ensure timely
deliveries and optimized lead times. You will be responsible for planning suppliers’ delivery
schedules and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support business growth while
ensuring product availability.
Ensuring reliable product supply from vendors to stores or customers’ locations is critical.
This involves continuously optimizing processes and using data insights to enhance
customer experience and deliver value to the business. You will also support initiatives to
improve retail supply chain operations to ensure efficient distribution and fulfillment of
products.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, CIPS, or SRM-focused programs are preferred
• Experience in retail or retail-linked sectors is an advantage
• Lean Six Sigma experience is desirable
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
• Knowledge of demand forecasting and inventory planning, including lead times,
order cycles, and safety stock
