Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition – Product
Mastercard’s Talent Acquisition Team is responsible for developing innovative talent advisory and sourcing strategies to identify and attract world‑class talent—both internally and externally—to support Mastercard’s continued growth and leadership in payments innovation.
As a Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition, you will play a critical role in recruiting top talent across Product functions in North America. Reporting into the Director, Talent Acquisition, this individual contributor role serves as a strategic partner to the business while helping build a best‑in‑class Talent Acquisition function.
Role
Deliver full‑cycle recruitment for a portfolio of mid‑ to senior‑level roles supporting Product teams across North America.
Design and execute tailored recruiting strategies for assigned client groups, leveraging internal and external talent pools to build strong, diverse candidate pipelines.
Proactively source, assess, and engage high‑quality talent using market intelligence tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and similar platforms.
Partner closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand hiring needs, provide talent market insights, and advise on recruiting approaches.
Deliver a seamless and inclusive candidate experience across all stages of the recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing through onboarding.
Build trusted relationships with People & Capability partners, including HR Business Partners, Compensation, and Global Mobility, to ensure alignment throughout the hiring process.
Provide regular recruiting updates and insights to stakeholders and maintain accurate data within the applicant tracking system.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and evolving market conditions to effectively target and engage top talent.
Contribute to Talent Acquisition team initiatives, process improvements, and special projects as needed.
All About You Experience in Talent Acquisition within a large, global, and matrixed organization.
Proven ability to successfully recruit professionals through senior‑level talent in a corporate environment; experience supporting Product, Strategy, Technology, Payments, or related functions is strongly preferred.
Strong sourcing capabilities with hands‑on experience building and managing talent pipelines.
Results‑driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities.
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
High degree of business acumen, professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Working knowledge of employment laws and standard hiring practices.
Comfortable working with applicant tracking systems; Workday ATS experience is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Ability to work in a hybrid model, with three days per week in the office.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
