Job Description
We’re seeking a Vice President to lead and execute social media strategy for Commercial & Investment Bank Marketing in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific,, with a primary focus on LinkedIn. You will own the regional strategy, editorial planning, governance, and performance measurement for our regional employee LinkedIn content program while partnering closely with global teams to ensure alignment and impact. This role blends hands-on social management with leadership responsibilities, including stakeholder engagement, agency oversight, and content innovation. You’ll shape our social presence, drive executive thought leadership, support key events, and optimize performance through data-driven insights.
This is a full-time role based in London. Regular travel across EMEA is required to support regional events and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the EMEA and APAC editorial roadmap (messaging pillars and thought-leadership themes) for our employee advocacy program on LinkedIn, aligned to Commercial & Investment Bank Marketing objectives and regional priorities.
- Establish content governance, approval workflows, and brand consistency across markets. Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Controls on social media governance;
- uphold brand, regulatory, and records requirements across EMEA markets.
- Channel management and execution
- Lead executive thought leadership programs, employee advocacy initiatives, and campaign storytelling tailored to EMEA. Build, organize, and maintain robust EMEA content calendars; create, curate, and publish timely, relevant LinkedIn content for diverse EMEA audiences.
- Support regional and global events (e.g., forums, conferences) with social coverage that highlights key moments, speakers, and outcomes.
- Apply creative skills—writing, design, and video—to produce high-quality social assets; collaborate with internal creative partners and external agencies.
- Provide clear briefs, feedback, and editorial guidance to ensure content meets brand standards and resonates with regional audiences.
- Measurement and Optimization
- Define KPIs and measurement frameworks; manage dashboards and regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Analyze performance metrics to generate insights and recommendations; run test-and-learn experiments to optimize formats, CTAs, targeting, and cadence.
- Stakeholder Management and Leadership
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across EMEA and global teams to source content, align messaging, and amplify priority initiatives.
- Mentor junior teammates and contribute to the global social media center of excellence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience in social media management for B2B brands, ideally within financial services or complex, regulated industries.
- Deep LinkedIn expertise across pages, showcase pages, executive profiles, thought leadership, employee advocacy, and paid formats.
- Exceptional writing and editorial judgment; ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives tailored to EMEA audiences.
- Strong creative acumen; proficiency with content tools. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Experience in video production: storyboarding, editing, filming, stills photography
- Advanced analytics and reporting skills; ability to translate performance data into actionable optimizations and executive-ready insights.
- Proven stakeholder management across senior, multicultural, and cross-functional teams; strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at pace.
- Experience supporting events through social content and promotion in EMEA.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfort working in a globally distributed team.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience with enterprise social management platforms and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with EMEA market nuances (culture, language, regulatory considerations); multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Understanding of demand generation and paid social measurement practices (e.g., funnel metrics, attribution, and UTM discipline).
- Hearsay knowledge is a plus.
