We’re looking for a Freelance Multi-Skilled Technical Operator to join our TV Studio Operations team in London. As a Multi-skilled Studio Operator, you will be part of a busy team in an exciting, fast-paced live news environment and your responsibilities will include: floor managing, operating studio camera robotics, camera racks, lighting, wireless camera operating and teleprompting. The Studio also produces pre-recorded interviews that require vision-mixing, directing and sound-mixing.

We'll Trust You To

• Collaborate with the technical teams and editorial personnel in order to ensure a quality visual presentation to our audience
• Read, follow and execute all relevant tasks outlined in a live news broadcast rundown
• Work well with a team of diverse individuals from a variety of backgrounds
• Move quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced broadcast environment
• Demonstrate flexibility with early morning shifts and occasional weekend work

You'll Need To Have

• At least 2 years of experience working and operating in a live TV environment
• Solid experience with studio stage managing (i.e. Floor Managing and audio prepping of microphones and IFB earpieces)
• Experience with multi camera robotic & handheld systems in a fast-paced live show environment
• Experience with teleprompter during live and taped events
• Knowledge of basic lighting controls and video routing systems
• Strong organizational, communication skills and attention to detail
• An ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy under tight deadlines in high pressure situations

We'd Love To See

• Experience with multi-camera rack
• Knowledge of BNCS
• Knowledge of RTS intercom systems
• Knowledge of Shotoku robotic systems
