Research Analyst, Financials (MENA/Australia/India/ASEAN)

Role: Research Analyst, Financials

Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities This role will be a part of an India focused Fundamental Equities investment team, working closely with an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager and other team members. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct fundamental research and analysis on financials sector companies.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models.
• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and company-specific developments.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the financials sector.
• Participate in company meetings and industry conferences.
• Collaborate with the Senior Portfolio Manager and other team members throughout the research and idea generation process.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in equity research with a focus on financials sector (Middle East, India, ASEAN or Australia or other major markets)
• Strong fundamental research capabilities especially in financial modeling
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Attention to detail and accuracy
