Overview
We are looking for a Multi-Office Operations & Portfolio Manager to lead the operational strategy and execution for TurboTax’s "Expert Office" network. This is a unique real estate challenge: managing a massive, high-velocity portfolio of 550+ coworking-based locations that serve over 1,000 active experts.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between day-to-day "in-the-weeds" troubleshooting and long-term portfolio strategy. You will be the architect of a consistent, high-quality brand experience across hundreds of shared spaces, ensuring our experts have the infrastructure they need to provide world-class service to our customers. As we evolve from third-party coworking to branded retail environments, you will play a key role in defining what the future of our physical footprint looks like.
Responsibilities
End-to-End Portfolio Ownership: Take full accountability for the "Expert Office" lifecycle. Ensure all 550+ locations meet strict resolution SLAs for all operational and facilities issues.
Data-Driven Storytelling: Analyze trends within our Quickbase ticketing system to identify "hotspots." You won't just report the data; you will tell the story of why issues are happening (e.g., recurring key fob failures or HVAC trends) and proactively implement solutions with suppliers.
The "Hospitality" Infrastructure: With a customer-obsessed mindset, you will ensure the "Expert Experience" is seamless. From office readiness to consistent brand aesthetics, you make sure the space reflects our standards, regardless of the third-party provider.
Strategic Transition & Scale: Partner with Retail Leadership to align Expert Offices with our broader market strategy. You will play an active role in defining what the next phase of our operating model looks like.
Operational Stewardship: Provide dotted-line guidance to contingent workers (CWs) and external vendors ensuring ticket hygiene and triage are handled efficiently. You’ll be the "Eyes on the Tickets," ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Lease & Vendor Coordination: Serve as a primary operational contact for facility vendors and space-related service partners. You will support lease administration, manage contractual compliance, and ensure all partners are delivering against agreed service levels.
Qualifications
Operationally Rigorous: You have 4–7 years of experience in multi-site operations, retail real estate, or complex facilities management.
The Proactive Fixer: You don’t wait for a problem to become a trend. You see the data, find the root cause, and own the solution end-to-end.
Data-Fluent: You are comfortable with data manipulation (Excel/Google Sheets) and ticketing systems (Quickbase, Jira, etc.) to drive decision-making.
Hospitality-Minded: You view our "Experts" as your customers. You understand that a broken printer or a locked door directly impacts our ability to serve our users.
Adaptable Strategist: You are comfortable operating in a complex, evolving environment and excited to help shape what comes next. As our operating model continues to develop, you bring strategic thinking to the table, contributing to how we do this better in the future.
