
Role Overview The Civil Engineer / Civil Executive will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations and maintenance activities within the facility. This role includes supervision of critical equipment, managing a large technical workforce, ensuring safety compliance, monitoring utilities, and maintaining all operational documentation. The candidate will act as a key interface between the client, vendors, and the facility management team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities Technical Operations & Maintenance
Monitor all technical aspects related to facility operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Oversee the operation and maintenance (O&M) of all critical equipment within the premises. Plan, execute, and supervise Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules and maintain records for breakdowns, PPM, and service activities. Prepare and maintain daily checklists, log sheets, and all operational records.
Utility Monitoring & Reporting Track and record civil activities and water consumption on a daily and monthly basis. Prepare monthly business-related data and reports for management review.
Team Supervision & Site Management
Plan, organize, and supervise all day-to-day facility operations. Lead and manage a ground team of approximately 25 technicians, ensuring task allocation and performance monitoring. Conduct daily briefings on site activities and ensure execution in compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines.
Client & Vendor Coordination Coordinate and report to the client regarding all major and critical issues. Follow-ups with relevant vendors and contractors to ensure timely resolution of technical problems. Prepare requests for quotations (RFQs/ BOQ and follow up on procurement requirements.
Documentation & Compliance Maintain complete documentation related to operation and maintenance activities. Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and HSE standards.
Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of civil maintenance and facility operations. Experience handling critical equipment and technical infrastructure. Ability to manage and motivate large technical teams. Good analytical skills for utility monitoring and reporting. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in documentation, MS Office, and FM software tools (if applicable).
