Data Engineer with DQ_DO

Role Overview We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Digital Operations team , focusing on building robust data pipelines and ensuring high data quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud services , SQL , Python , and Data Quality frameworks to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
• Implement Data Quality checks and frameworks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Create Python scripts for data processing, automation, and integration tasks.
• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to define data quality KPIs and monitoring processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Contribute to data governance and metadata management initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in:

• Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Blob Storage, Databricks)
• SQL (complex queries, optimization, stored procedures)
• Python (data manipulation, automation, API integration)

• Hands-on experience with Data Quality tools and frameworks (e.g., Great Expectations, Informatica DQ, or custom solutions).
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data observability tools and monitoring dashboards.
• Knowledge of Power BI or other visualization tools.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
