Overview Microsoft Consumer Marketing is seeking a self-motivated, forward-thinking Creative Director to lead cross-functional creative direction for Copilot. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader with deep expertise across multiple visual and narrative disciplines—someone who can both craft and lead, depending on what the work and the moment require. The Creative Director will be responsible for shaping and evolving Copilot’s next generation of consumer storytelling and digital experiences, grounded in strategic insight and clarity. Reporting into senior marketing leadership, this individual will operate at the center of a highly matrixed organization, partnering across Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Agencies to deliver cohesive, high-impact creative work.
This leader must be equally comfortable working independently and within a team, thriving in ambiguous environments with minimal supervision. They will collaborate directly with subject matter experts across the company to solve challenges and present confidently to senior leaders—knowing what to include, what to leave out, and how to shape a narrative that drives momentum. This role supports Copilot Consumer across major launch moments and ongoing marketing rhythms, spanning owned and operated channels (web, social, retail), paid media, product storytelling, demos, partnerships, and executive communications. The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller and systems thinker who can scale from foundational creative vision through execution and governance. They will bring innovative ideas that cut through the clutter while ensuring a unified and future-forward Copilot voice across all touchpoints.
