
Java Lead Developer - Vice President- Software Engineering Profile Description We’re seeking someone to join our FORT team as a Java Lead Developer. Looking for highly motivated individual with hands-on Java development experience, to support building the new Model management platform. Technology stack includes a wide range of proprietary and open-source technologies including REST API, Workflow and Rule Engine technologies, scalable big-data platforms, No-Sql databases, UI – ReactJS/Redux and reporting tools.
Model Control System (MCS) is used to manage firm-wide inventory of models by front-office, finance, operations, control, and other oversight functions. It is the central repository for storing model meta-data, documentation, and implements model workflows in accordance with The Firm Global Model Risk Management Policy.
The team supports cross-divisional business area with high visibility and oversight from both internal risk management and external regulatory authorities across the globe. To support significant growth in business functionality and support changing regulatory environment, including implementing new global policy frameworks such as AI/ML/GenAI model framework, MCS is undergoing significant modernization using modern technology stack. The new technology platform being built needs to support model inventory management, workflows, event management, Model Review, Model Usage, Model documentation, GenAI integration, analytics, and reporting.
About Super Department Risk Technology supports the aggregation and monitoring of risks across all global business and products. We own cross-asset applications and services to support and enable risk management consolidation, calculation, analysis and reporting, federal marking, model inventory control, limit setting, and frameworks monitoring. In addition, these services are used to meet global regulatory requirements.
