You'll take ownership of a student cohort and deliver three measurable outcomes: students experience genuine enthusiasm for school, they progress at double the speed of conventional classrooms, and they develop practical competencies. Coaching other Guides begins on day one. As your results scale, so does your authority over program quality across the entire campus.

What You Will Be Doing

Facilitating hour-long live sessions focused on essential competencies (public speaking, focus, feedback exchange) for students in grades K-8, adhering to Alpha's established framework
Conducting motivational interventions leveraging Coachbot analytics and Alpha's reward architecture (campus currency, performance leaderboards) to ensure 100% goal attainment across your cohort
Developing Guides through focused coaching on program adherence and standards enforcement, with each session yielding concrete action steps for improvement
Managing your designated student cohort while simultaneously advancing the capabilities of other Guides
Monitoring student engagement scores, objective completion percentages, and Guide effectiveness indicators

What You Won’t Be Doing

Delivering academic instruction or providing subject-specific tutoring. Academic content is delivered via application-based learning.
Creating original curriculum or instructional plans. You'll execute Alpha's proven playbook, allowing maximum attention to delivery and student connection.
Accepting 99% performance as sufficient. Maintaining high standards demonstrates your conviction in student capability.
Training Guides on instructional pedagogy. Since Guides don't teach traditional lessons, your coaching targets their energy, motivation tactics, and accountability practices.

Leadership Coach Key Responsibilities Execute Alpha's 3 Promises for all students in your assigned level: they develop a genuine love for school, they advance academically at twice the rate of traditional classrooms, and they acquire authentic life skills.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in education, learning and development (L&D), coaching, or a related field
Experience developing and implementing educational programs, training initiatives, or curricula
Experience building and managing teams, including hiring and making performance-based termination decisions
Experience working with youth ages 5-14 in an educational or developmental setting
Experience using data analysis and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
Willing to work in-person at an Alpha campus in Atlanta, GA or Keller (Fort Worth), TX
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice-to-have Requirements

Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field
Background in athletics coaching, camp counseling, or youth performance programs where results were measured and standards enforced
Experience motivating large groups of students

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
