GT School operates under a different model. We support Gifted & Talented students in grades K–8 through AI-enhanced curriculum and rigorous mentorship. We are now expanding our virtual offering to enable families to access GT-caliber acceleration regardless of location. This position is designed to construct a virtual school environment that is academically demanding, reliable, and demonstrably effective.

You will control the complete operational framework of the virtual program. This encompasses student journey architecture, advisor accountability systems, targeted cohort support, and sustained parent confidence. No established blueprint exists. You will conduct performance audits, implement rapid course corrections, intervene directly in live sessions when required, and establish the infrastructure that makes 3× learning gains sustainable and replicable.

This is a creation-focused role for an individual seeking measurable impact. Your scoreboard includes retention rates, learning velocity, parent confidence levels, and documented student achievement. What You Will Be Doing

• Architecting and iterating the complete virtual student journey to maximize acceleration, competitive drive, and community connection
• Conducting weekly evaluations of student outcomes, advisor effectiveness, and parent feedback to surface problems and drive immediate corrective action
• Managing performance delivery of the 3× learning framework, spotting XP shortfalls and creating infrastructure to sustain student momentum
• Collaborating with advisors to deploy cohort-specific interventions and proactive family outreach before concerns intensify
• Developing advisor training, alignment, and development frameworks using recorded sessions, data dashboards, and outcome metrics

• Managing a fixed program structure with predictable rhythms and delayed decision-making
• Functioning in a reactive supervisory capacity while waiting for others to flag performance concerns
• Prioritizing participation metrics over documented academic growth
• Generating reports that fail to produce tangible shifts in student outcomes or advisor execution

Basic Requirements

• Demonstrated ownership experience managing a virtual school or digital education program from end to end
• Teaching or instructional credentials with firsthand involvement in learning execution (in-person, online, or hybrid)
• Advanced diagnostic capability leveraging dashboards, recorded sessions, and feedback mechanisms to uncover root issues and execute solutions
• Track record leading distributed teams with defined expectations, accountability structures, and consistent execution
• Effective parent engagement skills with proven ability to deliver proactive, confidence-building communication

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience creating engagement mechanisms such as competitive formats, leaderboards, or community traditions that sustain student motivation
• Familiarity with progressive or AI-integrated instructional approaches
• Experience building and implementing measurable team enablement initiatives including structured onboarding and alignment protocols

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
