We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join Rail Infrastructure as part of Communication and Information Services (CIS) business within the Engineering team and reports to SCADA Design Manager. This role is office based, with the primary location in Ashby De-La-Zouch.
In CIS, we deliver Rail Infrastructure systems for customers across the UK and internationally. Our portfolio includes the provision of event driven control and monitoring solutions tailored for Centralised SCADA & Line-wide systems, Stations & Utilities, Power SCADA, Control Systems, Tunnel Ventilation, M&E and many more. We undertake the full engineering delivery life cycle across various projects.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong desire to continue developing technically by creating technical solutions and managing the associated risks. The individuals general and specialist knowledge, and understanding will be utilised to optimise the application of technologies and best practices.
This role involves requirements capture, design, implementation, test, installation, commissioning and maintenance of SCADA Systems within the Rail sector.
