EDI Developer

Job Description

• Understanding of business concepts, business rules, data flow and database structures of supported systems.
• Develop and deploy EDI and EDIFACT transactions.
• Good understand of end-to-end EDI lifecycle development from Specification to production installation.
• Ability to provide specification, flow charts and/or pseudo-code for design of new or updates to applications.
• Strong understanding for the mapping of data elements
• Strong understanding of the compliant vs. noncompliant aspects of data elements for all transaction sets.
• Easily define and document flow-chart logic and data-flow diagrams.
• Suggest changes and improvement where necessary to aid growth and scalability.
• Ability to develop and maintain EDI transactions.
• Including 810, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 865, 867, 870, and 997.
• Ability to map/configure in both ANSI X.12 EDI and EDIFACT formats.
• Ability to map/configure XML, CBXML, iDoc.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
