About the Role

As a Promo Writer, you’re the reason someone stops scrolling and starts listening.

You’ll take an existing story and turn it into a high-impact promotional script that hooks the audience in seconds and keeps them engaged till the end.

This isn’t just writing.

This is storytelling with a purpose - to grab attention, build curiosity, and drive clicks.

You’ll work closely with creative and marketing teams to create promos that feel dramatic, emotional, and impossible to ignore.

What you’ll actually do

Hook people instantly

Write audio-first promo scripts (1600–2400 words) that grab attention within the first few seconds.

Build drama that keeps them listening

Turn stories into cliffhanger-heavy, emotionally engaging promos that reflect the vibe of the show - romance, thriller, fantasy, or suspense.

Make characters feel real

Create moments that make the audience care - whether it’s love, betrayal, tension, or twists.

Write for different platforms

Adapt your writing style for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and more - because each platform needs a slightly different hook.

Balance story + performance

Write promos that are not just engaging but also drive results — clicks, installs, and retention.

Iterate and improve

Revise scripts based on feedback and performance metrics like CTR and CPI

You’ll thrive here if you

• Think like a storyteller but also understand what makes content perform
• Know how to write dramatic, cinematic, conversational content
• Understand what makes someone stop scrolling
• Can switch between genres easily (romance, thriller, fantasy, etc.)
• Are comfortable working with deadlines and fast turnarounds
• Have strong English or Hindi writing skills (both is a bonus)
