Trading Services Manager - Vice President

Job Description Work with industry leaders to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and deliver innovative solutions!

As a Trading Services Manager - Vice President within JPMorganChase, you will support the day-to-day operational activities of the Equities business, with close proximity to the Sales and Trading Desk and a multitude of partners across Technology, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Risk and Controls. You will be responsible for leveraging technology, data analytics, and automation to drive process improvements and support project initiatives, with a particular focus on managing securities fails and risk mitigation.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes of exceptions, and opportunities for process optimization, recommending and implementing technology-enabled solutions
• Assist in analyzing and reducing contra-revenue and expenses related to fails, including cost of funding, cost of capital, Rule 15c3-3, and CSDR, using advanced data analytics and automation tools
• Prepare and deliver metrics to stakeholders, identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of automation initiatives, strategic system enhancements, and AI-driven solutions to optimize operational processes
• Maintain, enhance, and automate interactive dashboards to provide real-time operational insights and support data-driven decision-making
• Provide support to the teams responsible for management and resolution of securities fails
• Gather and define middle office requirements for internal and industry projects, including settlement changes and regulatory initiatives
• Support project delivery by identifying process improvements, collaborating with technology teams, leveraging large language models (LLMs) and AI tools, and tracking progress against KPIs and risk mitigation goals

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Relevant experience in corporate and investment banking
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (such as Python, SQL) for process improvement, report automation, and data analysis
• Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to interpret and act on complex data sets using advanced analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience leveraging large language models (LLMs) and AI-driven solutions to streamline operations and enhance control frameworks
• Ability to draft clear, concise executive summaries and business cases that synthesize technical findings and operational risks for senior leadership review
• Advanced skills in creating impactful presentations, including integrating data visualizations and analytics to support business cases and project updates
• Understanding of securities fails management and associated risks, with the ability to apply technology solutions to mitigate risk
• Experience supporting project delivery in a corporate and investment banking environment, including technology integration
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and technology partners to deliver process improvements and strategic initiatives

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Experience within equity operations or middle office functions
• Exposure to technology-driven process improvement and automation
