Role Description
This role will be r
esponsible for owning the full sales cycle and driving revenue growth within our mid-market and commercial segments. This role focuses on navigating technical evaluations, managing complex stakeholder committees, and closing new business for our cloud-native infrastructure solutions. AEs who consistently exceed their quotas will have a direct path to transitioning into Senior Commercial or Enterprise AE roles as we scale.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who have 2-4+ years of experience in quota-carrying full-cycle sales at a fast-paced tech company (preferably a high-growth SaaS startup), in addition to the following:
—managing the journey from initial discovery and technical validation to final contract negotiation and closing
—ability to lead credible conversations with DevOps, Engineering, and IT leadership regarding cloud infrastructure, data, or security stacks
—partnering with SDRs while maintaining a self-sourced pipeline through targeted LinkedIn, email, and cold-call prospecting
—working cross-functionally with Solutions Engineers and Product teams to run successful POCs and overcome technical objections
—the ability to thrive in an ambiguous startup environment, experiment with new closing strategies, and adapt to a rapidly evolving product roadmap
