Description Job Summary
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) delivers millions of packages to customers every day across Amazon's Last Mile network. Supporting AMZL, the Global Fleet and Products (GFP) organization manages Fleet technology, capacity, vehicle in-life services programs, vendor management, planning and execution to support vehicle requirements to deliver parcels to customers' doorsteps.
EU Fleet Finance is a specialized team of 7 finance professionals partnering with GFP to drive strategic investment decisions and optimize fleet performance across 10 European countries. As GFP executes on ambitious program initiatives around safety and efficiency in order to optimize vehicle availability and cost, the team provides the financial rigor, business case development, and ROI analysis that enables data-driven decision-making on multi-million dollar investments.
The team is seeking a Finance Manager to serve as a strategic finance business partner to GFP operations leaders. This role requires an experienced finance professional who can independently assess complex capital and operational investments, build sophisticated financial models for safety and efficiency programs, and influence strategic decisions through rigorous ROI analysis. The successful candidate will take ownership of evaluating initiatives such as onsite maintenance expansion via Fleet Service Centers, scaling Full Maintenance Lease programs, vehicle technology retrofits, and fleet optimization programs that drive year-over-year operational readiness and utilization improvements. Working with minimal oversight, the successful candidate will partner directly with GFP program managers to challenge assumptions, quantify benefits, validate business cases, and ensure investments deliver measurable returns. The role also contributes to core finance activities including Weekly and Monthly Business Reviews and Amazon's annual planning cycles.
Given the breadth of GFP's 2026 priorities—spanning safety technology rollouts, partner experience improvements, fleet availability programs, and sustainability initiatives—the candidate will engage with stakeholders across operations, product, partnerships, and compliance teams. The role provides subject matter expertise on fleet economics, evaluates trade-offs between capital intensity and operational efficiency, and designs scalable financial frameworks that support both tactical execution and long-term strategic planning across Europe's diverse fleet landscape.
