You're the engineer who maintains uptime for 50+ SaaS products when others are still guessing. We need DevOps engineers who can step into unfamiliar AWS environments, bring order to instability, and drive availability beyond 99.9% through disciplined monitoring, automation, and root cause analysis. You'll break down complex projects into executable one-day increments, deliver production-ready Python or JavaScript, and leverage AI as your assistant.
Most organizations talk about "cloud-native" while manually tending infrastructure. We're systematizing reliability across dozens of acquired products where original teams have departed and documentation is incomplete. The challenge: you'll apply agents and contemporary tooling to understand new systems 5–10x faster, document your findings, and automate solutions so repeat failures are eliminated. Rather than judging you on certifications and buzzwords, we'll observe how you troubleshoot under pressure, author a genuine 5-Whys that identifies one preventable root cause, and construct automations that endure in production.
This is not a tier-2 "follow the runbook" position. Here, you author the runbooks, architect the deployment path from development through staging to gradual rollout with soak periods and rollback criteria, and implement monitoring that detects corner cases. You reject risky changes before they reach production. You distinguish infrastructure failures you own from application bugs Engineering owns, and you route permanent remediation to the appropriate team.
You'll operate at the engineering center of reliability, managing infrastructure initiatives, incident response with RCAs, and change requests documented with copy-paste-executable instructions. If you've already operated a substantial SaaS product and want to extend that discipline across a portfolio, join us. Bring expert AWS knowledge, production-quality coding ability, disciplined scope management, and daily, critical reliance on AI tooling. If you're prepared to ensure continuity, please apply.
