Why This Role Matters

As an AI Solutions Engineer Intern, you will work closely with the Strategy / CEO’s Office to build AI-first automations and agentic workflows that remove manual work and strengthen operational reliability across Finance, Operations, GTM/Sales, Marketing, and Support.

This role is designed for someone who can identify high-impact automation opportunities, prototype quickly, and ship workflows that are production-ready, measurable, and scalable - with strong monitoring, guardrails, and maker-checker processes.

What You’ll Own

• Identify and scope high-leverage problems by quantifying baseline time spent, error rates, and defining success metrics
• Build and ship AI-powered automations (LLMs + rules + human-in-the-loop) with retries, alerts, audit trails, and approvals
• Integrate systems via APIs and webhooks across CRM, support desk, billing/finance tools, data warehouse, Slack/Email, and internal databases
• Instrument workflows with logging, dashboards, fallbacks, rollbacks, and post-launch QA to ensure reliability
• Create documentation including playbooks/runbooks and enable internal owners through training so workflows sustain long-term

Who You Are

• Hands-on experience with automation platforms like Zapier, n8n, Make, or Pipedream, with real workflows shipped end-to-end
• Strong understanding of APIs and webhooks (REST, OAuth2, JSON) and comfortable using Postman/Insomnia
• Strong fundamentals in LLMs: prompting, tool/function calling, grounding/RAG basics, and PII/safety hygiene
• Comfortable scripting in Python or JavaScript for utilities and workflow extensions
• Strong basics of SQL/spreadsheets, and familiarity with idempotency, error handling, retry patterns, and queue-based workflows
• Strong operator mindset with ability to map processes, conduct stakeholder discovery, write crisp documentation, and track KPIs
• Bonus if you have prior startup internship exposure in Ops/RevOps/Support/Finance/GTM and a portfolio of shipped automation projects
