Overview
We are seeking a full-time
Executive Assistant
at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. This is a great opportunity to join a fun and thriving tech company that allows you to put your passion into action. This role will provide strategic and administrative support to the COO as well as broader support within the company's executive office including coordinating complex schedules, supporting internal initiatives, managing communications and executing day-to-day administrative responsibilities.
Essential FunctionsAssistant to Chief Operating Officer
Serve as the primary point of contact for the COO and collaborate with team members across the organization to meet business objectives
Must have a positive attitude, high integrity and a professional demeanor
Assist with complex calendar management and exercise discernment in prioritizing requests and resolving conflicts
Prepare executive presentations, correspondence, and internal communications
Must be extremely detail oriented with a high aptitude in grammar and editing
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including trip itineraries and logistics, and process expense reports
Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate executive approvals
Oversee miscellaneous projects as assigned
Executive Office Support
Manage logistics and coordination of high-level meetings and events
Provide support for quarterly board meetings
Conduct research and assist with presentations and communications
Assist with executive calendar management and meeting preparation and execution
Facilitate calls and correspondence to the executive office
Work collaboratively with team members, which may include cross training of responsibilities
Lead or support special projects and perform other duties and functions as assigned
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an executive assistant supporting C-Suite OR an equivalent combination of education and related experience
Self-directed professional with highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail
Experience creating PowerPoint presentations and drafting executive communications
Exercise discernment and discretion
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
