Job Description The Manager, Strategic Initiatives is responsible for playing a pivotal and central role across a range of projects that enhance our network footprint and capabilities with a particular focus on stablecoin activity. We are seeking an experienced Manager that is ready to apply their payments and delivery expertise to guide the design and implementation of solution strategies that accelerate usage and revenue for Visa Direct, including scaled business process and technology infrastructure, alongside world class industry/developer solutions.
The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter who will manage a portfolio of high-profile initiatives such as executing on Visa’s global digital asset regulatory strategy, partnering with global teams and external advisors to identify and mobilise new solution opportunities, and thinking innovatively to drive acceleration initiatives across the broader Visa to support on digital asset permissions and use-cases. This role will be expected to develop both short- and long-term strategies, while influencing leadership across the company to implement and execute.

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience. In-depth knowledge of the payments industry or stablecoins/digital assets (preferable). Demonstrable experience in the payments industry, specifically in cross border payments. Highly strategic, strong business acumen, with great intellectual agility and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across different disciplines both written and oral. Strong team player, self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to influence, negotiate and drive results, ensuring that timelines are adhered to and any risks to the project are called out early
