As the Deputy Director - Category Demand Management, individuals are expected to have a wealth of experience ranging from 6.0 to 8.0 years in the relevant field. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the demand management processes within the specified category, ensuring effective strategies are in place to optimize inventory levels and meet customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute demand forecasting models to predict market trends and customer demand within the assigned category.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement demand planning strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant metrics to identify demand patterns and insights.
• Manage and monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory costs.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain optimization.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Utilize advanced analytics and forecasting tools to enhance demand planning accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze macroeconomic factors and industry trends that may impact demand for products within the category.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in demand management. The Deputy Director - Category Demand Management will be instrumental in driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective demand planning and inventory management strategies.
