As a Research Engineer, you will be responsible for research & innovation, design & development of prototypes and ensuring timely evolution of prototypes into products. The primary objective of this role will be to ensure the constant launch on innovative products for online travel consumers with the help of a small team of highly qualified research technologists / developers

Qualifications:

• At least an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics preferably from IITs/Tier-I colleges.
• 2-4 years of experience of active software development and AI/ML modelling, (for PhD no such restriction).
• Must be comfortable in software development using Python.

Must have

• Thorough understanding of mathematical backgrounds of ML/DL algorithms.
• Ability to code machine learning algorithms from scratch.
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures. Exceptional problem solving ability.
• Good understanding of statistics, linear algebra & probability theory.
• Knowledge of ML/DL libraries (Scikit-learn, Keras/tensorflow/PyTorch).
• Ability to interpret a ML model.
• Good understanding of model selection/ model evaluation techniques.
• Ability to perform exploratory data analysis and to explain the key outcomes from that analysis.
• Ability/tricks to handle large as well as small data sets.
• Communicate technical findings and insights effectively.
• Ability to think creatively and drive innovative solutions.

Good to have

• Familiarity with computer vision techniques, including image classification, object detection, image segmentation, and feature extraction.
• Experience in financial modelling and revenue optimization is a plus.
• Knowledge about software architecture/design is a plus.
• Awareness about the State of the Art techniques in AI research.
