The most meaningful way to support a student who reached 99% of their target is to insist it isn't finished. If that expectation feels uncomfortable, this position may not suit you. If it resonates because you understand that maintaining high standards demonstrates your belief in a student's ability to meet them, continue reading.
Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Through adaptive software, students complete a full academic day in roughly two hours. No traditional lectures. No textbooks. Your responsibility centers on what technology cannot provide: guiding young people through essential life competencies such as public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback exchange. You'll facilitate interactive workshops, drive students toward ambitious learning targets, and cultivate relationships that transform a reserved fourth grader into someone who presents with confidence before adult audiences.
This position grows over time. During your first year, you'll manage a focused student group while becoming fluent in Alpha's methodology: life skills workshops, motivational coaching sessions, and mastery-based evaluation. Once you demonstrate the ability to guide every student to 100% goal attainment while maintaining satisfaction ratings above 90%, advancement to Lead Guide becomes possible—a role where you'll mentor a team while maintaining direct student engagement. Top performers don't merely impact individual students; they influence how an entire campus functions.
Traditional schools don't offer this opportunity. If you've been coaching, counseling, or mentoring young people and wish you could eliminate instructional teaching to focus entirely on their personal development, this role represents that transition.
