What You Will Be Doing

Conduct one-on-one and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective methods and recognizing measurable achievements
Develop and lead play-based learning sessions that integrate SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as a model of excellence for the team
Examine and align Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain visibility of milestone tracking
Craft family communications and conduct team huddles to synchronize goals and uphold collective standards supporting campus-wide PreK readiness objectives

Basic Requirements Montessori Program Director key responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related field; Master's degree or specialized training preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in early years education, early childhood development, or related field
Experience working with groups of young children ages 3 to 5
Demonstrated ability to design and implement play-based educational programs or curricula that promote developmental milestones e.g. Montessori
At least 1 year of experience coaching or managing a team of educators with performance accountability
Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear family updates and team alignment
Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Willingness to work in-person at Alpha Austin campus with relocation support provided if needed

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
