Role Overview:

Qualcomm India is hiring a Camera & Computer Vision Systems Engineer to design and optimize advanced imaging, camera, and vision algorithms for next‑generation mobile and embedded platforms. You’ll work across HW/SW teams to build high‑performance, hardware‑accelerated imaging solutions that power cutting‑edge camera experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize camera, computer vision, and image processing algorithms for mobile and embedded SoCs.
Prototype, benchmark, and tune algorithms for hardware acceleration and real‑time performance.
Collaborate with product and commercialization teams for camera pipeline optimization , performance profiling, and benchmarking.
Support system validation , regression testing, and release readiness.

What You Bring:

Education:
Bachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields from top engineering institutes (e.g., IIT/NIT/IIIT or equivalent globally),
With strong academic performance and a solid foundation in algorithms and systems.
Experience:
3–8 years in Computer Vision, Camera Imaging , or Image Processing.
Proficiency in C/C++ , data structures, and algorithm development.
Experience with camera technologies , imaging systems, or camera pipeline development.
Exposure to ML/DL, embedded/ARM programming, SIMD optimizations, or accelerator‑based architectures.
