Job Description
The Senior Manager, Data Strategy & Analytics plays a critical role in shaping and executing analytics solutions across FOX’s digital ecosystem, including websites, mobile apps, and connected TV (OTT) platforms. As part of the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team, this role leads the end-to-end analytics lifecycle—from strategy and design to implementation, validation, and reporting.
You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable measurement frameworks, ensuring high-quality data collection, governance, and actionable insights that drive product and business decisions.
a Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of analytics solutions across web, mobile, and OTT platforms
- Define and enforce analytics implementation standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
- Translate business goals into clear measurement strategies, KPIs, and tracking requirements
- Design and document tracking specifications, including event schemas and data layers
- Oversee implementation of analytics tags, SDKs, and APIs in collaboration with engineering teams
- Automate and manage tagging through tag management systems and direct integrations
- Establish and maintain data validation, QA, and reconciliation processes
- Debug and troubleshoot analytics implementations across platforms
- Ensure accurate end-to-end data collection and integrity
- Manage data governance, permissions, and processing logic
- Configure dashboards and reports using analytics platforms and data tools
- Perform analysis and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
- Champion data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Provide guidance and best practices to analysts, engineers, product managers, and marketers
- Partner with stakeholders to translate evolving business needs into scalable data solutions
- Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and drive cross-functional resolution
- Lead the development of scalable processes and standard methodologies
What You Will Need
- Strong background in analytics, data engineering, or a related technical field
- Deep understanding of data architecture, analytics implementation, and engineering best practices
- Hands-on experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Amplitude)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and measurement platforms (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore)
- Proficiency in SQL; experience with Python is a plus
- Experience with tag management systems and data collection frameworks
- Strong debugging skills using browser developer tools or network inspection tools
- Solid understanding of how analytics SDKs and tags function from implementation to network requests
- Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, S3, EMR, Snowflake)
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
- Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Java, Objective-C, C++, BrightScript)
- Experience implementing custom JavaScript tagging solutions
- Familiarity with testing/debugging tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Wireshark)
- Experience in digital media, streaming, or entertainment industries
- Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities
- Self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities and solutions
- Collaborative team player with an “enabler” mentality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- Passion for digital media, technology, and analytics

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00-170,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
