Since our inception in 2017, Propelld has helped 5 lakh+ students and families fund their education and today operates across 10,000+ pin codes in India. We are also India’s second-largest education financing NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) after State Bank of India in terms of the number of education loans disbursed, making us one of the fastest-growing players in the category.
As Propelld continues to scale as a series D-funded company, we are looking for a Brand Manager who can shape and lead our brand across campaigns, social media, creator partnerships, and offline initiatives, while working with a lean internal team and external agencies.
This role offers the opportunity to build a large-scale consumer brand in a category that deeply impacts families and students across India. It is ideal for someone who enjoys building brands from the ground up, running impactful campaigns, and leading creative teams to deliver high-quality storytelling at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Campaigns
- Conceptualise and execute
brand campaigns across digital and offline channels
- Lead campaign storytelling, messaging, and execution with internal teams and agencies
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
Social Media Growth
- Drive
social media growth and engagement
, especially on Instagram (Eventually building YT IP’s)
- Guide the content team on storytelling formats, content ideas, and experimentation
- Build a strong content engine across short-form and long-form formats
Influencer & Creator Marketing
- Identify and collaborate with creators who resonate with students and parents
- Execute
influencer campaigns
that drive reach, credibility, and engagement
Media Planning
- Plan and allocate
media budgets across platforms
(social, creators, paid media, etc.)
- Decide channel mix based on audience behaviour and campaign objectives
- Work with performance marketing teams to ensure strong campaign distribution
Funnel Storytelling & Marketing Content
- Collaborate with performance marketing teams to improve
top-of-funnel & lead funnel storytelling
- Guide the creation of
high-performing ad creatives and marketing content
Team & Agency Leadership
- Manage writers, designers, editors, and external agencies
- Ensure high-quality output across campaigns, content, and brand initiatives
Must Have
- 5–8 years of experience
in brand marketing, campaign marketing, or social media marketing
- Experience in
planning and executing brand campaigns
- Strong experience in
social media growth and content strategy
- Experience with
influencer or creator marketing
- Experience in
media planning and deciding channel distribution
- Experience managing
creative teams, freelancers, or agencies
- Ability to
conceptualise campaigns and lead execution
Good to Have
- Experience working in
consumer internet, fintech, or edtech startups
- Experience working in a
creative or marketing agency
- Exposure to
offline brand campaigns or campus marketing
- Experience with
YouTube or long-form content formats
- Understanding of basic
