YOUR ROLE: Media Strategy & Planning – Americas - Associate Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative communications professional to join the Corporate Communications Strategy & Insights (S&I) Media Strategy team. This CL8 Americas-based role provides strategic support to the Media Strategy Associate Director and Growth Priority Leads , helping shape and activate integrated earned media strategies that elevate Accenture’s brand and market positioning.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Media Strategy & Planning Lead , you will play a key role in supporting priority campaigns, strengthening media storytelling, and enabling cross-functional alignment across Corporate Communications and Marketing + Communications (M+C).
This role is based in the Americas and supports priority initiatives across the region.
Key Responsibilities Media Strategy & Planning Support
Support the development and execution of earned media strategies aligned to priority business, industry, and growth market topics.
Assist the Media Strategy Associate Director and Growth Priority Leads with media planning, campaign coordination, and content development.
Contribute to the creation of media-ready materials including messaging, talking points, briefing documents, pitches, op-eds, bylines, Q&As, and content pipelines.
Identify media opportunities that amplify Accenture’s leadership across key narratives such as AI, reinvention, cloud, security, and talent.
Help manage issues preparedness and reputational risk assessments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Corporate Communications S&I, Media Relations, Executive Positioning, CEO Positioning, Insights, and Growth Priority teams to help drive integrated strategic activation.
Facilitate alignment across global, regional, and market-level stakeholders.
Collaborate with agencies, writers, analysts, and senior leaders to develop compelling, insight-led content.
Maintain strong, proactive working relationships with business and communications partners across the Americas.
Insights, Measurement & Reporting
Monitor earned media performance, sentiment, and impact using available analytics tools.
Translate insights into actionable recommendations for strategic refinement.
Maintain reporting cadence for regional leadership and Growth Priority Leads.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate communications, earned media, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
Preferred Skills Qualifications:
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and within a matrixed environment.
Experience partnering across large, complex organizations.
Critical thinker with strong business judgment and the ability to identify narrative opportunities.
Familiarity with insights-led strategic planning and media analytics tools.
Executive presence with excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Experience working in or supporting the Americas region.
Demonstrated experience supporting media strategy, planning, and/or media relations.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, compelling strategic media content.
Familiarity with global and regional business media and drivers of Tier 1 coverage.
Experience supporting senior leaders and providing thoughtful, well-reasoned communications recommendations.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
