Role Overview
As a
Senior Staff Technical Program Manager (STPM)
at GreyOrange, you will own and drive large-scale, business-critical engineering programs across Product, Engineering, QA, Release, and Customer teams. You will operate as a strategic partner to senior leadership, shaping execution strategy and ensuring predictable delivery of complex, high-impact systems.
This role requires deep technical expertise, strong program leadership, and the ability to influence without formal authority. You will lead end-to-end program execution—from roadmap definition to production deployment—while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.

Key Responsibilities
Own and drive end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team engineering programs
Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define roadmaps, priorities, and execution strategy
Clearly articulate technical vision, requirements, milestones, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders and executive leadership
Lead cross-functional planning, dependency management, and resource optimization
Establish program governance, execution cadence, and accountability frameworks
Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate technical and delivery risks
Drive operational excellence, process improvements, and engineering best practices
Define and track engineering metrics to ensure quality, efficiency, and predictability
Own and drive GreyMatter release planning through deployment
Partner with Change Management to plan and execute major and minor customer releases
Collaborate with QA to strengthen quality assurance frameworks
Work with QA and Customer Support to plan maintenance and patch releases
Lead Agile / Scaled Agile (SAFe) execution and transformation initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
12+ years of experience in software engineering and/or technical program management
Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex technology programs from inception to launch
Experience working autonomously across multiple teams and business units
Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
Excellent communication skills across technical and executive audiences
Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially within distributed systems
Experience collaborating across global, cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
Domain experience in supply chain, warehouse automation, industrial hardware, or robotics
Experience working in product-driven environments
Hands-on exposure to Scaled Agile / SAFe and leading Agile transformations
