About the Team
Affordability at Paytm is an omni-channel business driving EMI and credit solutions at the point of sale across online and offline merchants. The team partners with leading Banks and NBFCs to enable seamless and scalable credit access for customers.
Role Overview
As a Key Account Manager – Issuer Alliances, you will support and manage relationships with Banks and NBFC partners to drive EMI and credit adoption across the Paytm ecosystem. You will work closely with internal teams and issuer partners to ensure smooth execution of programs and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day coordination with issuer partners (Banks/NBFCs) for ongoing EMI and credit programs
Support onboarding of new issuer partners and assist in expanding existing partnerships
Work on execution of joint business plans with partners to drive disbursals and activation
Coordinate with internal teams (product, operations, finance, tech) to ensure timely launch of offers and programs
Track and monitor key metrics such as approvals, conversions, and disbursals
Assist in resolving operational issues related to reconciliation, settlements, and offer configurations
Support in identifying growth opportunities and improving partner performance
Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Key Skills Required
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
High ownership and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of payments, lending, or EMI products preferred
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage priorities
Data-oriented approach with comfort in working with numbers and reports
Experience & Education
2–5 years of experience in Key Account Management / Partnerships / Operations
Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or NBFC ecosystem is a plus
Post-Graduation preferred
