Role Overview
The Creative Lead leads brandled visual design for global life sciences and pharmaceutical clients. This role blends handson execution with art direction and team leadership, delivering highquality work across digital, print, and omnichannel assets within regulated environments. The role requires strong expertise in Visual Design, UI/UX, and Graphic Design, plus therapyarea exposure across Cardiovascular, Immunology, Oncology (Heme & Solid Tumors), Neuroscience, and labeldriven updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Own art direction and visual quality for assigned brands/campaigns; translate brand strategy into scalable visual systems.
- Lead handson design delivery across UI/UX, visual design, and complex graphics for web, email, banners, social, presentations, and campaign assets.
- Drive label update and compliancedriven change implementation with speed, precision, and consistency.
- Partner with content, medical, review, and project teams to ensure assets are clear, onbrand, and reviewready.
- Present creative rationale to stakeholders; manage feedback and iterate efficiently in an agencystyle model.
- Mentor designers, conduct design reviews, and build templates/components/playbooks to scale delivery.
- Ensure accessibility and digital best practices are applied across experiences (responsive, usability, and consistency).
Therapeutic & Domain Experience (Required)
- Cardiovascular, Immunology, Oncology (Hematology and Solid Tumors), Neuroscience
- Experience supporting labelupdate led revisions across asset families and channels
- Comfort operating in regulated promotional/nonpromotional content environments and review cycles
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Creative and Art Direction / Visual Design / UI/UX / Graphic Design with creative agency or pharma brand experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating art direction, digital craft, and brandled storytelling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident stakeholder management
- Handson proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; XD optional)
- Working knowledge of design systems, componentbased workflows, and accessibility standards
Preferred Tools/Platforms:
Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, collaboration/review tools, CMS/DAM exposure (advantage), project tools (e.g., Jira/Workfront/Aprimo).
