You're a middle-school math specialist with a sharp eye for precision—someone who can detect an incorrect denominator across multiple browser tabs. You bring teaching or tutoring experience in grades 4–8 (or equivalent instincts and subject-matter depth), you craft feedback students can act on immediately, and you refuse to let "almost right" slip into any material students depend on.
We're developing an AI-driven math content platform that delivers questions, articles, and videos at scale, but we reject the notion that volume matters if the mathematics is flawed or the instruction lacks clarity. The industry chases "produce more." We prioritize "deliver better." Your role is the human checkpoint ensuring thousands of learners never encounter an AI's overconfident errors, vague explanations, or quietly compromised rigor.
This position centers on rigorous quality control of AI-generated middle school math materials: verifying correctness, logical flow, grade-appropriate alignment, and pedagogical soundness; identifying conceptual pitfalls, unclear language, and faulty reasoning; and delivering precise, structured feedback that enables rapid correction by another team. This is detail-oriented work demanding high standards, keen observation, and absolute intolerance for mathematically inaccurate or instructionally damaging content reaching publication.
You'll serve as the final checkpoint in the content pipeline before release, evaluating material delivered through spreadsheets or an internal platform and converting your expert judgment into clear issue documentation. If you can work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy, flag problems without drafting lengthy critiques, and you value student learning above diplomatic language toward a machine, you should apply.
