Instead, they progress through academics using AI-driven adaptive software, moving at their own speed and frequently advancing an entire grade level in a matter of weeks. Your role covers everything the technology cannot: guiding students through setbacks, teaching them how to provide constructive feedback, holding them accountable to higher standards than they thought possible, and creating an environment they're excited to return to each day. You'll facilitate practical life skills sessions covering public speaking, concentration, and time management, then lead engagement-focused discussions designed to inspire authentic commitment rather than simple obedience.
This environment differs fundamentally from a traditional classroom. You'll support a small group of K-12 learners who know your name and rely on your guidance. Using Coachbot analytics, you'll monitor their development, identify obstacles, and teach them problem-solving strategies. When every student in your cohort meets their weekly targets and 90% provide positive survey feedback, you'll see direct evidence that the model succeeds because of your execution.
Guides who excel with their cohorts advance to Lead Guide roles — mentoring other Guides and influencing campus-wide delivery of Alpha's educational model. Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
