Maersk Ground Freight (MGF) offers transportation services like FTL (Full Truckload), LTL (Less Than Truckload), brokerage, cross-border trucking, groupage, and sortation hubs, connecting Maersk or Customer warehouses or depots or cross-dock/consolidation/deconsolidation facilities through a robust network led by best-in-class operations and technology. This integrated network will service multi-channels like B2B, B2C, B2B2C, e-commerce, direct to store, dropship, returns, and more, leveraging asset-based, asset-light, and non-asset models.
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering leader to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms that power analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives. He/She will be be responsible for driving day to day business analytics, supporting the business with insights and driving AI/ML initiatives in business. This role involves leading a cross-functional team of Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Business Analysts while driving best practices across data pipelines, governance, and workflow automation. You will collaborate closely with business and operations stakeholders to deliver high-impact, data-driven solutions, support forecasting and ML model deployment, and ensure high data quality and reliability across systems. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Azure-based data platforms, ETL processes, AI, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, stakeholder management, with a proven track record of mentoring teams and enabling advanced analytics in complex environments.
