Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Experience in operational support for cloud-based environments, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Manage and maintain Windows server environments, ensuring system stability and performance
• Analyzed and resolved system performance issues using tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• On-call support and Major Incidents handling
• AI Tools: Utilize latest technologies to implement and streamline operational efficiencies
• Cloud Computing & Virtualization: Experience with Azure, AWS, and VMware across enterprise environments.
• IT Monitoring & Analytics: Hands-on expertise with AppDynamics, Splunk, and Zenoss for performance monitoring and incident detection.
• Operating Systems & Infrastructure Management: Experience in AIX, Linux, Windows, z/OS, and mainframe/distributed systems.
• Automation & Orchestration Tools: Experience with BMC BladeLogic, IPsoft IPcenter, Blue Prism RPA, and TWS/Maestro.
• DevOps & Collaboration Platforms: Proficient with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow (support DLs and following up on tickets; prepare various report metrics), SharePoint (Admin with Wiki creation), Teams, and Miro.
• Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead globally distributed Agile teams, including responsibilities of multiple roles.
• Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis: Senior-level experience managing major incidents, reducing MTTR, and maturing RCA processes.
• Agile Project & Product Delivery (SAFe/Scrum): Deep agile background with external certifications; experience in PI Planning, DevOps, and Release Train coordination.
• System Integration, Deployment & Environment Management: Code deployments, environment readiness, and system lifecycle operations across cloud and on-prem platforms.
• Risk Management & Operational Resilience: Experience in identifying risks, leading Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity exercises, and ensuring operational continuity under pressure.
Responsibilities
• Provide operational support for cloud-based environments, specifically AWS and Azure
• Manage and maintain Windows server environments, ensuring system stability and performance (both on prem and cloud).
• Monitor and analyze system performance using tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Implement and maintain best practices for cloud security and compliance.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of applications and services.
• Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.
• Implement AI functionalities as required by end-user community.
• Lead globally distributed Agile teams supporting complex IT environments across distributed, mainframe, and cloud platforms.
• Manage end to end environment operations, including batch processing, system monitoring, code deployments, and database refresh coordination.
• Oversee major incident management, driving rapid triage, escalation, communication, and resolution to minimize business impact.
• Perform advanced root cause analysis, maturing RCA processes and reducing repetitive issues and MTTR.
• Implement and optimize monitoring solutions using AppDynamics, Splunk, and Zenoss to proactively detect and resolve performance issues.
• Execute system lifecycle activities, including installations, upgrades, decommissioning, and compliance aligned operations across on prem and cloud environments.
• Lead knowledge transfer, ensuring complete, compliant, and seamless handoffs across internal and external teams (including utilization of KB articles).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, reducing manual interventions, identify repetitive patterns then work with teams to mitigate findings, improving batch job reliability, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity, validating system resilience through Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity exercises and configuration reviews.
• Administer collaboration and ITSM platforms, including SharePoint, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps, ensuring accurate documentation and streamlined workflows.
Base Salary Range: $90,000 to $105,000 Per Annum
