Roles & Responsibilities
Write clear, compelling, and engaging copy for multiple channels including brand films, performance marketing, social media, in-app channels and delivery partner communications, ensuring alignment with Swiggy’s tone and voice.
Develop innovative and creative concepts and messaging that resonate with the delivery partner audience and reflect campaign objectives.
Collaborate closely with the creative team, designers, and marketers to produce integrated content that enhances brand storytelling and user engagement.
Edit, proofread, and elevate copy produced by junior writers to maintain high editorial standards and consistency.
Translate marketing briefs into powerful written communication that inspires and motivates delivery partners.
Maintain and evolve a consistent brand voice specifically tailored to delivery partners across all communications.
Use insights and feedback to refine copy for improved impact and effectiveness.
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to inject fresh ideas into the marketing strategy.
Contribute hands-on to content creation while mentoring junior copywriters to grow their skills and craft.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience as a copywriter, preferably with exposure to brand marketing, and specially social media marketing or advertising agency environments.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across diverse platforms and formats, with emphasis on user-focused, result-driven writing.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with impeccable attention to detail.
Ability to convey complex messages in simple, relatable language that speaks directly to delivery partners.
Aptitude for collaborating with design and marketing teams to create cohesive campaign assets.
Understanding of digital marketing dynamics, including social, performance, and brand communications.
Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines while maintaining quality.
A mindset that values creativity as an evolving process defined by audience connection, clarity, and impact.
